Melissa Henrie is an alto/bass, originally from Valencia, CA. Missy has been making sounds with her mouth (mostly on pitch) since 2001. Sassy noise generating experiences range from private vocal study and varied musical theater productions, to participation in projects such as Hart Show Choir, COC Chamber Choir, COC Jazz Ensemble, and the UCSD Daughters of Triton (collegiate a cappella). After graduating from the University of California, San Diego, Missy has gone on to work as a molecular biologist. Her interests include travelling, eating pizza, travelling to eat pizza, snuggling corgis, listening to Lauryn Hill's Un-plugged album (note the plug), puns, interpretive ribbon and cross-fit dancing, and reading most things written by Chuck Klosterman. Un-embarrassing fact: Dashboard Confessional was her first concert. She only cried twice.
